Third generation descendant of Greek immigrants from Tarpon Springs and later New Port Richey, FL (original name = Phogartopoulos -- a regional branch of the well-known Artopoulos family line; legally changed by grandfather in the 1920s). Currently a very independent-type Baptist, with seminary training in biblical theology and languages.
